Opening of Technical Bids within the Investment Package for the Construction of New High-Efficiency Cogeneration Plants for Termoelectrica S.A.

The public opening of the technical bids submitted under the tender for the project “Installation of High-Efficiency Cogeneration Plants at CT Vest and CET Sursa 3, and Installation of Electrical Transformers and Distribution Installations (design, supply, installation)” took place on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the headquarters of the Consolidated Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE), which is responsible for fiduciary aspects of the Second Project for Improving the Efficiency of the District Heating System (SACET).

The event was held in the presence of observers from state institutions, contracted international consultants, the beneficiary – Termoelectrica S.A., bidders, and other interested parties who chose to attend.

According to procurement procedures, following the evaluation of the technical bids and the approval of the Technical Bid Evaluation Report by the World Bank, the financial bids will be opened.

The event was public, in accordance with the specific procurement notice published on the implementation unit’s website: www.mepiu.md.

It should be noted that UCIPE conducts procurement procedures in accordance with World Bank guidelines.
