The environmental and social impact assessment documentation and the environmental and social management plans specific to the sites for the 400 kV Overhead Power Line (OHL) and the Chișinău Electric Substation, developed at the detailed design stage

The Consolidated Unit for the Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE) ensures the publication of the final drafts of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment documentation and the Environmental and Social Management Plans for the 400 kV Overhead Power Line (OHL) Vulcănești – Chișinău and the Chișinău Electric Substation, in order to provide access to environmental and social information to interested parties, and subsequently organize public consultations in all administrative-territorial units affected by the construction of the 400 kV overhead power line Vulcănești – Chișinău and the Chișinău Electric Substation.

The site-specific environmental and social documentation is published for at least 30 days, after which public consultations will be held in the 8 districts affected by the construction of the 400 kV OHL Vulcănești – Chișinău. Comments, suggestions, and objections received from interested parties during the public consultations will be sent to UCIPE by email or other communication channels, to review the environmental and social documentation.
