Factory acceptance tests for the high-voltage circuit breakers intended for the modernization of the 330 kV Chișinău electrical substation have been successfully completed.
The inspection took place at the manufacturing plant in Aurangabad, India, under the supervision of a team of representatives from the Consolidated Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE), ÎS Moldelectrica, and the technical supervision consultant.
The contract (A2) for the modernization of the 330 kV Chișinău electrical substation came into force on February 22, 2022. Its implementation period is 32 months.
The construction of the substation is part of the Energy System Development Project (PDSE), funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Energy through UCIPE. The project beneficiary is ÎS Moldelectrica.
