The team of the Consolidated Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE) participated on Tuesday, April 25, in a working meeting held at the World Bank office.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the Second Project for Improving the Efficiency of the Centralized Thermal Energy Supply System in Chișinău (PIESACET-2).
The main topics discussed included the Procurement Plan and its update in the context of the project's restructuring, the implementation status of the procurement packages, and the next steps in the restructuring process of PIESACET-2.
The working meeting was held as part of the World Bank's supervision mission regarding the implementation of PIESACET-2. The next meeting on this topic within the supervision mission is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, at Termoelectrica S.A. – the beneficiary institution.
PIESACET-2 aims to increase the efficiency of the centralized thermal energy supply system in the municipality of Chișinău. The project is financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank Group).
