Experts from the World Bank, representatives of Termoelectrica S.A., and the team of the Consolidated Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE) involved in the implementation of the second Project for Improving the Efficiency of the Centralized Thermal Energy Supply System in Chișinău (PIESACET-2) convened for a working meeting at the World Bank office. The discussion focused on the restructuring of PIESACET-2, including the revision of procurement packages and the timelines for the planned activities.
The working meeting took place in the context of the World Bank energy team’s visit to the Republic of Moldova and will continue with on-site visits and meetings with representatives of government institutions.
The second Project for Improving the Efficiency of the Centralized Thermal Energy Supply System in Chișinău (PIESACET-2) is funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The project aims to increase the efficiency of the centralized thermal energy supply system in the municipality of Chișinău.
