From foundation preparation and assembly on the ground, to lifting the pre-assembled elements tens of meters high – all these rigorous technical stages, as well as many others, involve the coordinated effort of dozens of specialists and several days of work.

Foundation preparation is the most complex construction stage: it involves deep excavations, resistant reinforcements and large volumes of concrete, all adapted to the terrain and specific conditions of each location.

Next comes the installation of the metal segments, this stage involves about 20 workers for each pillar, who work together, joining, piece by piece, the pillar components.

On the other hand, lifting the pillar is, practically, the most visible and spectacular stage, but also very demanding at the same time, as it involves working at height, millimetric maneuvers with specialized equipment and a team of technicians, trained to operate in difficult conditions, tens of meters above the ground.

The Vulcanesti-Chisinau energy independence line has 3 types of pylons, adapted to the terrain and technical needs. Their dimensions vary, the smallest being 27 meters and approximately 9 tons, the equivalent of a 9-story building, while the tallest reaches over 48 meters and exceeds 40 tons – the same as a 16-story building!

In total, the Vulcanesti-Chisinau energy independence line will include 503 metal pylons, with a cumulative weight of over 10,000 tons – the equivalent of the Eiffel Tower.
