On October 31 and November 2, 2018, Final Acceptance of the reconstruction works for district heating networks was carried out for the following work packages:
- C1.7 – reconstruction of 800 meters of district heating networks with DN 250, 300, 400 from Pumping Station No. 19 (Lomonosov Street) to heating chamber CT-319 (Drumul Viilor Street) in the South circuit. The works were carried out between May 2, 2017, and October 31, 2017, by SC Elsaco Electronic (Romania). The total value of the works was 16,822,962.11 MDL (equivalent to 964,326.22 USD).
- C1.8 – reconstruction of 420 meters of district heating networks with DN 500, between heating chamber CT-5S and Pumping Station No. 3. The works were carried out between August 1, 2017, and October 15, 2017, by the consortium Engul s.r.o (Slovakia) and Promintergaz SRL (Moldova). The total value of the works was 10,031,901.51 MDL (equivalent to 574,182.70 USD).
- C1.9 – reconstruction of 1120 meters of district heating networks with DN 500. The works were carried out between June 20, 2017, and October 15, 2017, by the consortium Turboenergy Power SRL, Eligibil-Con SRL, and Aquaterm SRL (Moldova). The total value of the works was 21,559,617.50 MDL (equivalent to 1,241,051.33 USD).
- C1.1.1 – reconstruction of 1280 meters of district heating networks with DN 700. The works were carried out between June 5, 2017, and October 15, 2017, by SC Elsaco Electronic (Romania). The total value of the works was 45,786,313.60 MDL (equivalent to 2,608,452.74 USD).
These construction contracts, part of the District Heating Efficiency Improvement Project, were implemented with financial support from the World Bank, with contractors selected in accordance with the procurement procedures of the Donor. The Final Acceptance sessions were attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, the Chișinău City Hall, Termoelectrica S.A., and UCIPE.
